Rihanna B-Day Little Person Lap Dance

Rihanna found out that lap dances come in all different sizes. Courtesy of boyfriend and Los Angeles Dodger, Matt Kemp.

From Amp.radio.com
Rihanna was “shocked” by the surprise bash put together by baseball player Matt Kemp in Phoenix, Arizona – where Kemp is currently training . Rihanna was only expecting a small gathering of friends but what she got was a lap dance by a midget stripper! Tmz got a hold of the footage!

Tiger Will Make Public Statement on Friday

*UPDATE* (from Golf.com) Tiger Woods reentered public life on Friday morning with a prepared statement delivered at PGA Tour headquarters in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.

"I know I have bitterly disappointed all of you. I have made you question who I am and how I could have done the things I did. I am embarrassed I have put you in this position. For all that I have done, I am so sorry. I have a lot to atone for."

Well here we are in anticipation of the golf superstar after his much publisized sexcapades that revealed themselves after his Thanksgiving car accident. Many people would just as well have him return to the golf course and just play without all this tabloid fodder being played out in the media. Too bad for them. The aloof golf and advertising megastar has been a recluse since news broke of his accident the details that followed will now face selected friendly media and make a stat…

Fan Event for 'Alice in Wonderland'

from LA Times

Circle the date, "Alice" fans: On Feb. 19 there will be a major event at Hollywood & Highland that will include appearances by Tim Burton and some cast members from his "Alice in Wonderland."

The event kicks off at 5 p.m. and the schedule of events includes live music by half a dozen artists featured on "Almost Alice," the album that hits stores on March 2. The announced acts so far include Kerli, Never Shout Never, 3OH!3 , Metro Station and Family Force 5, but expect lots of fans to show up with high hopes that, just maybe, there might be an appearance by one of the bigger-name contributors to the album, such as Avril Lavigne, Robert Smith or the All-American Rejects http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/herocomplex/2010/02/alice-in-wonderland-fan-event-in-hollywood.html

Too Fat to Fly? One Airline Thinks Director Kevin Smith is Just That

Southwest Airlines apparently has no love for the heavier set. Director Kevin Smith was kicked off a plane for being a safety risk due to his width, supposedly. Southwest is no stranger to controversy when it comes to selectively dismissing passengers for their weight, length of skirts, crying babies, etc. This time however they've discriminated against the wrong fellow. Smith has a huge Twitter following and the incident has brought on a torrent of angry posts aimed squarely at the airlines policy http://bit.ly/aifgyJ.

from TVGuide.com

Kevin Smith was kicked off a Southwest Airlines flight from Oakland to Burbank, Calif., Saturday because he was deemed too fat for the seats, he wrote in a barrage of angry Twitter posts.

The Clerks and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back director said he was booted by the captain after he was seated because he was considered a "safety risk."

Saints March Over the Colts to Win Super Bowl

The sentimental favorite New Orleans Saints rallied past the Indianapolis Colts to win Super Bowl 44, 30-17. Five years removed from the total devastation of Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans has a restored sense of pride emanating from the Saints first trip to the Super Bowl and it's first win.

from SI.com
The New Orleans Saints, who went 21 seasons before reaching the playoffs and 34 seasons before winning a postseason game, completed their storybook season Sunday night by rallying past the favored Colts 31-17 in Super Bowl XLIV in Sun Life Stadium.
The fourth quarter was basically a summary of their entire season: the offense dominated down the stretch and the defense came up with a game-changing play.
"Words can't describe what this means for New Orleans," said cornerback Tracy Porter, who closed the scoring with a 74-yard interception return with 3:12 to play. "I am a Louisiana native, and this is real big."

Drunkest Cities in America

Another sense of pride for the beautiful state of California. Three of the top ten are in the Golden State-#1 Fresno, #4 Riverside and #10 Bakersfield. I'd want to drink all the time too if I lived in those cities.

from Men's Health

Overdose on almost any medicine, and it can go from balm to bomb in an instant. A couple glasses of wine each day? Liquid fix-it for your heart. A bottle before bed? You might end up like the folks in Fresno. Our statistical sobriety checkpoint shows that the inebriated people there have one of the highest death rates from alcoholic liver disease (per data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). In fact, Fresno was near the top in every measure of dangerous drinking, including the body count caused by booze-fueled car crashes (Fatality Analysis Reporting System), the number of arrests made for driving under the influence (FBI), the number of people who admit to binge drinking in the last month (CDC), and the severity of DUI p…

Grammys a Big Night for Beyonce and Swift

As award shows go last night's Grammys were pretty good. Big performances by Beyonce, Green Day, Pink and others anchored the show in between award presentations. Basically more fodder for Lady Gaga fans/detractors and a bleeped out performance by Lil' Wayne and Eminem.

The big winners were Beyonce (record-breaking 6 awards) and Taylor Swift won Album of the Year.

While Grammys are a chance to see huge stars on stage I prefer the DVR approach. I can skip all the junk and go straight to the music.

Song of the Year: "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)," Beyoncé
