This Thursday night, August 30th, from 7-10 PM at our Melrose location, we open "Kings, Queens & Prince," a brand new solo show from G1988 favorite Nathan Stapley. Nathan's most recent piece with Gallery1988, was his stand-out painting at the Avengers Assemble exhibit, and he's been working on this new body of work ever since. Nathan will unveil 20 new pieces and judging by the show's title and showcard, you might now what to expect. Nathan will be in attendance for the opening reception, and the
exhibition will run through September 15th.

Tim Burton's 1989 'Batman' film featured the great work from Danny Elfman for it's theme music. It was so well received that it was also used in 'Batman: The Animated Series'. After months of speculation, rumors and every trade scenario ever imagined Dwight Howard was finally traded to the Los Angeles Lakers from the Orlando Magic. Yesterday, Yahoo Sports reported that a 4-team deal was in the works that would bring Howard to the Lakers. Besides the Lakers and Magic the other teams involved included Philadelphia 76ers and Denver Nuggets. Unlike countless other reports over the last several months this report had more weight than others and negotiations were moving fast. Here are some of the details:
