After hiring Godzilla director, Gareth Edwards, Disney/Lucasfilm has tapped Chronicle and Fantastic Four filmmaker Josh Trank to also helm a stand-alone Star Wars movie.
The question of course is which spin-off feature will it be? Just as the guessing began when Edwards was announced will Trank take on a Yoda, Boba Fett, Han Solo, or other classic Star Wars character? Whichever it is it won't be a part of the upcoming trilogy by J.J Abrams starting with Star Wars: Episode VII.
