COMIC BOOK DAY: Notable New Releases (10/22)


As Halloween draws near there's plenty of scary stuff to choose from at comic book stores. Not only one of the best horror comics to come out but one of the best comics period has been Afterlife with Archie. Archie and friends face a zombie apocalypse in the newly released magazine edition with cool added features.


Also, check out Colder and Goners for more suspense and chills. 

The newest Bat-book launches with Arkham Manor #1 as the asylum has gone kaput and the inmates need a new temporary home. What better place than Wayne Manor.

Best selling Harley Quinn  has a new issue (#11) and a collected volume in the hardcover Hot in the City featuring issues #0-8 out in stores now. 

You get a double dose of Greg Rucka with Lazarus #12 and Stumptown #2.

Five Ghosts #13 begins a new arc just in time to jump on board for new readers as the critically acclaimed series heads to live-action.

REVIEW: 'Bonehead' #2 by Bryan Edward Hill, Rhoald Marcellius, and Sakti Yuwono

Bryan Hill pumps the brakes a little in the follow up to the fast-paced debut of 'Bonehead' with more great world building. The mystery surrounding Bonehead 56 deepens but we at least get some backstory and details about what his arrival means for a pair of brothers with opposing viewpoints.

Hit-Girl is most certainly back and as deadly and crazy as ever. She's gone international looking to fight injustice and find a worthy sidekick.
