'Batman Unlimited', 'DC Super Friends' Toy Lines and Cartoons in the Works at DC Entertainment

Unlike their live-action counterparts, Arrow and The Flash, the animated characters will also be accompanied by their respective toy lines. If you wanted to go down to your local Toys R Us and pick yourself up a Green Arrow action figure based on Stephen Amell or a Flash figure based on Grant Gustin you'd be out of luck. Fortunately, the animated side of Warner Bros. is getting a synergistic boost of cartoons and toys.

ARROW Review (S3E11): 'Midnight City'

If you're a citizen of Starling City you may be a little perplexed as to who exactly is patrolling the streets because it sure ain't the Arrow. Laurel, bless her heart, does her best to fill the void left behind by the Arrow's  absence, but she's not quite ready for prime time. Thankfully, Arsenal provided some back-up. Taking on her sister's persona as the Black Canary is proving difficult for Laurel but she is committed.

REVIEW: Agent Carter (S1E4): 'The Blitzkrieg Button'

Agent Carter has exceeded expectations so far creating a time and world all its own. The adventures of Peggy Carter has surpassed the exploits of her modern day counterparts of SHIELD in execution and fun. It's inevitable that there'd be a dip in the action-packed series.

'Supergirl' Just Cast the Hottest 'Jimmy Olsen' in History

Now that Supergirl herself has been cast, CBS is moving along with the rest of the players in the DC Comics adaptation. Mehcad Brooks (Necessary Roughness, True Blood) has been cast as one of Superman's most famous pals in photographer Jimmy Olsen. This version of Olsen will play opposite Melissa Benoist's Kara Zor-El, who came to earth to escape the destruction of the planet Krypton.

THE FLASH Review (S1E11): 'The Sound and the Fury'

Another week, another classic Flash villain make an appearance. This time it’s the Pied Piper (Andy Mientus) and as usual, the baddie of the week is out to make the Flash’s life miserable. But this time Hartley Rathaway has an axe to grind with his former mentor, Dr. Harrison Wells. The overall result made for an interesting vehicle for Wells to find some humility as the episode dealt mainly with the consequences of his actions. It was a good episode but came across as a set-up for bigger things.

REVIEW: 'They're Not Like Us' #2 by Eric Stephenson, Simon Gane and Jordie Bellaire

They're Not Like Us by Eric Stephenson, Simon Gane, and Jordie Bellaire is not your typical collection of gifted individuals brought together for a common goal. In fact, this group led by a man named The Voice would rather you not know about them at all. Doing everything in their power to blend in and not draw any undue attention. Even if it takes pounding some guy in the chin with a boot.

Fantastic Four Teaser Trailer has Arrived!

As promised, 20th Century Fox released a teaser trailer for the much maligned but anticipated Fantastic Four movie directed by Josh Trank. The trailer takes on the dark science fiction aesthetic that separates it from happy team-up movies like Marvel Studios' Avengers and sets a tone more like a realistic science experiment gone horribly wrong.

GOTHAM Review (S1E13): 'Welcome Back, Jim Gordon'

'Welcome Back, Jim Gordon,' is not just the return of the detective from the doghouse but the return of the formulaic police procedural. See Gordon argue with his superiors, see Gordon go against their wishes, see Gordon be told he shouldn't rock the boat, see Captain Essen not help-then help-Gordon roused by an inspirational speech. We've seen this before and it's not any better than the last thirteen times.

THE HUMANS, VOLUME 1 by Keenan Marshall Keller and Tom Neely is a Must-Buy in March

REVIEW: King: Flash Gordon #1 by Ben Acker, Ben Blacker and Lee Ferguson

Flash Gordon has been around since 1934 for a reason. The exciting space adventures of a regular guy standing against the tyranny of an alien foe has sparked the imaginations of some of our greatest sci-fi writers, artists and filmmakers. He's the precursor to characters like Han Solo and Star Lord. With that said, King: Flash Gordon #1 from Ben Acker, Ben Blacker and Lee Ferguson carries on the tradition of fun and exciting space daring-do even with this uneven debut.

'Arrow' Promo Features Laurel in 'Black Canary' Mode Whether You Like It or Not

With Ollie still MIA and on the mend(?) far from Starling City, justice still needs to be served as Brick makes a big power play in the Glades. That leaves Team Arrow on their own, but Arsenal is more than willing to fill the void left behind. Joining him, as we saw in the last episode, Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) has taken up the mantle for her dearly departed sister as Black Canary.

The Flash Review (S1E10): 'Revenge of the Rogues'

After a long winter break, TV's best comic book show, The Flash, is back and facing not one but two rogues this time. 'Revenge of the Rogues' brings back Leonar Snart/Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and introduces Mick Rory/Heatwave (Dominic Purcell) to try and trap the Scarlet Speedster. The former Prison Break co-stars are in great form as they relish their villainy roles, one who’s cool under pressure and one that’s obviously a hothead. They skirt the line of parody with some punny lines but not too many. Meanwhile, Barry and the STAR Labs crew are looking for a way to increase his speed after the run-in with the much faster Reverse Flash.

'Gotham' Review (S1E12): 'What the Little Bird Told Him'

Gotham suffers a sort of identity crisis much like Harvey Dent himself. Not the hamfisted younger version introduced earlier in the series but the much more villainous future Two-Face of Batman canon. On the one hand, the show is a police procedural with sometime buddy cops Gordon and Bullock trading quips and arguing over how to handle a case. On the other, there's a gritty mob crime drama with riveting and cunning characters on the verge of destroying one another. Guess which show we'd like to see more of?

REVIEW: Goners #4 by Jacob Semahn and Jorge Corona

Goners #4 by Jacob Semahn and Jorge Corona has certainly put the great paranormal hunters, the Latimers, through the ringer and nothing will prepare you for what happens in this issue.
