The holiday season may be over but the gifts keep on coming as this week's selection of new comic books is an embarrassment of riches. We could have added ten more comics to take note of but there are limits but luckily not for readers. You literally could stand blind-folded in front of the new releases section at your local comic book store and pick a great book. Such is the case today as many fantastic reads await your purchase. Here are just a few of them.


Written by Joshua Williamson. Art and Cover by Andrei Bressan and Adriano Lucas. How do you adjust to the real world after living in a war zone for half your life? Mikey Rhodes and his family will find out firsthand, as danger from Terrenos presents itself on Earth. Cover price $2.99.

Marc Silvestri released 'Cyber Force' twenty-six years ago and this second reboot of the former flagship series rests in the hands of writers Bryan Hill and Matt Hawkins. REVIEW: 'Slots' #1 by Dan Panosian

Created, written, and drawn by Dan Panosian, 'Slots' #1 is his baby and he has a story to tell at his own damn pace. This beautifully illustrated story is centered squarely on former boxer Stanley Dance and his attempt to find redemption despite being someone without many redeeming qualities.

WONDER WOMAN OF THE DAY: Fitness Model Gia Macool Embodies the Amazon Princess

The closest we'll ever get, probably, to superheroes in real life is through the great work of cosplayers. You see them at every pop culture convention from the very basic to extremely elaborate costume design.
