The first trailer for Netflix's Daredevil series has finally arrived and it's as dark and action-packed as you've heard. Starring British actor, Charlie Cox (Boardwalk Empire, Stardust), the 13-episode series revolves around blind attorney, Matt Murdock, turned superhero who patrols the streets of Hell's Kitchen.
Based on Marvel Comics' "street-level heroes", Daredevil marks the first entry into their deal with Netflix to produce four individual series that will culminate into a team-up movie like the Avengers called The Defenders. The other series include A.K.A. Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage.
The cast includes includes Vincent D’Onofrio (Wilson Fisk), Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page) and Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), along with Vondie Curtis Hall, Scott Glenn, Ayelet Zurer, Bob Gunton and Toby Leonard Moore.
The one-hour series will debut April 10 at 12:01 a.m. PT in all territories where Netflix is available.
