NYCC2016: AfterShock Announces Two New Books for 2017

Fresh from this weekend's New York Comic-Con, AfterShock Comics announced two new titles for 2017. In January you'll be able to get your hands on 'Blood Blister' and 'Animosity: The Rise.'

In usual AfterShock fashion, the new books include some top comic book talent. The horror book 'Blood Blister' features the work of Phil Hester, Tony Harris, Eric Layton, and Guy Major. Coming off the success of 'Animosity,' the one-shot 'Animosity: The Rise' has creator Marguerite Bennett working with American Monster artist Juan Doe.

See the solicitations below and make sure to preorder them with your local comic book shop to reserve your copy.

Sin is a joke to Brandon Hull. Morality a crutch for the weak, laws mere tools to be abused. But when the corruption he scoffed at begins to manifest on his once-perfect body, Hull finds himself cast into a hidden world of unspeakable horror from which there is no escape. How can you be saved when the evil possessing you is your own soul? Opening a jarring window on to a world of horror.

Opening a jarring window on to a world of horror from the writer of The Coffin, Firebreather, and Deathstroke and the Eisner Award-winning artist of Ex-Machina and Starman.
