"Arrow's" Katie Cassidy is Coming to "The Flash" and "Vixen"

In the CW's DC television universe crossing over is standard procedure. The next 'Arrow' star headed to its sister-show, The Flash, is Katie Cassidy. The usual butt-kicking Black Canary and Assistant District Attorney Laurel Lance will actually be the Earth-2 equivalent, the Black Siren.

In the comics, the Black Siren was the Golden Age hero who was part of the Justice Society of America. Her name was Dinah Drake and mother to Dinah Laurel Lance who became the Black Canary.

Cassidy's appearance comes in this season's penultimate episode of "The Flash" that airs Tuesday, May 17 on The CW at 8 p.m.

Cassidy will also be providing her voice for her animated version as Black Canary on 'Vixen.' The animated Flash-Arrow (Flarrow?) spin-off stars Megalyn Echikunwoke as the voice of the titular character and also appeared in person on Arrow earlier this year.

Team Flash is no stranger to Laurel as Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) paid Star City a visit previously. Here's a little taste of how that went:
